Bolingbrook Chiropractor Dr. Jeff talks about chiropractic as a garden

The challenge today is that we think that health has to be complicated in order to work. We think if an idea is simple it must not be true. Today I am going to explain the principle of chiropractic which is a simple principle. This does not mean being a chiropractor and chiropractic practice is simple or easy, but the principle which we chiropractors stand for is easy and simple to understand. The principle of chiropractic is like a hose that feeds water to a garden. When %100 of the water runs through the hose the garden receives all the water it needs and thrives with beauty which we would call health. If we came along and dropped a rock on the hose we would slow down or completely stop the flow of water and over time the garden would become sick, unhealthy and eventually die. Then one day a simple man comes along and says there is a rock on the hose, therefore less water and the garden is dying! We need to take the rock off the hose let water flow back and alas over time that garden will grow healthy because it has the potential to do so. Sure enough take the rock off water flows and his theory holds true. It wasn,t an extremely amazing or complicated thouht but rather simole and it workded!!
Chiropractic nis just like this, your nerves which come out inbetween your spinal bones on either side carry nutrients like a hose to all of your organs and muscles to keep them healthy and alive. When one or more of the bones move out of place they are like a rock being dropped on that hose. The bones then pinch the nerves decreasing the body’s ability to heal. The body starts to show symtoms of poor health like the garden. The solution in principle is quite simple: like the rock on the hose if we moved the bone off the nerve the nutients flow through the nerves back to the body and the body heals itself. This is the truth and this simple principle occurs in my office all the time. The complication comes in with the determining which bone has shifted which way and what nerve is affected, determining A care plan and monitoring how when where and why to give an adjustment. A well trained chiropractor will know all of this.
